Important: Because each appliance (the primary REO Appliance and each associated REO Appliance) has its own console, change the default values for the iSCSI Target Name fields on the REO Device Configuration page, and change the REO Name and REO Description fields (the default is REO) under System Information on the System Configuration page so that all names are unique.

Setting Up Additional REO Appliances in an FC Topology

There are two options for adding additional REO Appliances to your FC environment. You can attach each REO Appliance to its own set of ports on an FC switch in a fabric or point-to-point topology. For a loop topology, attach each REO Appliance to its own set of ports on an FC hub.
