BBasic Troubleshooting
As you troubleshoot the REO Appliance, keep the following guidelines in
mind:
Do not turn off the REO Appliance using the power butt on on the
appliance. You must verify that none of the initiators have active
connections, and you should use the Shutdown/Restart option in the
software console to power down the REO Appliance.
Never remove the chassis cover.
If a peripheral does not work, make sure that all connections are
secure.

Using the SoftKey Reset Option

Use this option, which is available via the System Maintenance page,
only when you are instructed to do so by Overland Storage Technical
Support.
Important: If you click Reset, your network- and system-configuration
settings will be returned to the factor y defaults.
