If you have a technical question about the REO Appliance, try the following:
1Check the documentation and online Help.
2Check the Web site: www.overlandstorage.com
Updates and Release Notes for the latest versions of the REO Appliance products are available from the Overland Storage Web site. The Release Notes include guidelines for upgrading the software and firmware, describe modifications and enhancements made to the product, and identify issues that you should be aware of when using the product. (For more information, see Checking For and Downloading Updates on page 148.)
After you register your product via the Web site, you can view and download the Release Notes, as well as any other applicable documentation, such as the latest version of the Setup Guide.
Registering Your Product
1Go to the Overland Storage Web site at: www.overlandstorage.com
2Click SERVICE & SUPPORT.
3If you have previously registered other products, log on via the MEMBER LOGIN section; otherwise, click SIGN UP NOW, and follow the onscreen steps to create a logon account.
4Under MY PRODUCTS, click Add or Register a New Product.
5Enter the serial number of your REO Appliance (usually located on the back of the unit) and delivery date, and click SUBMIT.
