3-107mac-address-table static
Use this command to map a static address to a destination port.
Use the no form to remove an address.
Syntax
mac-address-table static mac-address {interface | discard}
[action]
no mac-address-table static mac-address [discard]
mac-address - MAC address.
interface
ethernet unit/port
-unit - This is device 1.
-port - Port number.
port-channel channel-id (Range: 1-4)
discard - Discards all packets matching the destination
address.
action -
-delete-on-reset - Assignment lasts until switch is reset.
-permanent - Assignment is permanent.
Default Setting
No static addresses are defined. The default mode is
permanent.
