Procedure 2 Connector Check and Replacement Check
If the Bluetooth function malfunctions, there may be a bad connection between the antenna cable, the Bluetooth module, and the system board (FQDSY*). Or the antenna cable or other boards may be damaged.
Disassemble the computer following the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures and perform the following checks:
Check 1 The Bluetooth function wiring diagram is shown below. Make sure all of the connections are firmly connected.

If any of the connectors are disconnected, connect it firmly and repeat Procedure 1. If the Bluetooth still isn't functioning properly, perform Check 2.
Check 2 The antenna coaxial cable may be defective or damaged. Replace it with a new one following the steps in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If the Bluetooth is still not functioning properly, perform Check 3.
Check 3 The Bluetooth module may be defective or damaged. Replace it with a new one following the steps in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If the Bluetooth is still not functioning properly, perform Check 4.
Check 4 The system board (FQDSY*) may be defective or damaged. Replace the System board with a new one following the steps in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures.
