6. Programming Information

System information

System information is the area which stores execution control parameters. The following

contents are included in t he system informat ion.

(1) Machine parameters (hardware type, m em or y type)

(2) User progr am informat ion ( pr ogram ID, system com m ents, number of steps used)

(3) Passwords

(4) Retentive regist er ar ea informat ion

(5) T1S program memor y mode, 4 k steps or 8 k st eps (T1S only)

(6) Execution control paramet er s ( scan mode, timer int er r upt interval)

(7) Station number setting f or program m er por t (T1), or RS-485 port comm unication

(9) Input force table

The system information is stored in the built-in EEPROM. Ther efore, when these

information is modified, the EEPROM w rite operation is necessary. Otherwise, these are

over-written by orig inal EEPRO M contents at the next initial load tim ing.

User program

The T1 has a capacity of 2 k steps of the user program. And the T1S has a capacity of 8

k steps of the user pr ogram.

The user pr ogram is stored by each program types as shown in the following diagr am,

and is managed by units called blocks in each program types.
