6. Programming Information

Timer/counter preset value (constant data) changing

The preset value (constant data) of timer or counter instruction can be changed in on-line
(during RUN) by using t he pr ogramm ing tool.

Function instruction constant operand changing (T1S only)

The constant operand of function instruction can be changed in on-line (during RUN) by
using the pr ogramming t ool.

Device changing (T1S only)

The device of contact or coil instruction can be changed in on-line (during RUN) by using
the prog r am m ing tool.

On-line program changing (T1S only)

When t he T1S’s memory mode is 4 k mode, t he pr ogram can be chang ed using normal
edit mode. ( r ung by rung)
In the on-line pr ogram chang ing, it is not allowed to chang e t he number or order of the
following instr uct ions.
END, MCS, MCR, JCS, JCR, FO R, NEXT, CALL, SUBR, RET, IRET

On-line EEPROM write (T1S only)

The EEPROM write is possible in on-line (during RUN) as well as in HALT m ode.
In the on- line EEPRO M write, user dat a is not written into t he EEPROM.
During this operation, the T1S’s scan time becomes long er. However, as it has the time
limit per scan, the T1S’s control operation is not stopped.
NOTE
NOTE
The above on-line f unctions are perf or med on the RAM memory. Therefore,
when program has been chang ed, execute the EEPROM write operation
befor e t urning of f power. Otherwise, program stored in the EEPROM will be
overwritten.
In case of the standard T1, the EEPROM write is possible only in the HALT
mode.
