10. Troubl eshooting

10.1 Troubleshooting procedure

If a t r ouble occurs, determ ine whether t he cause lies in t he m echanical side or in the

control system ( PLC) side. A problem may cause a secondary problem, t her efore, try to

determine t he cause of trouble by considering t he whole system.

If t he pr oblem is found in the T1/T1S, check the following points:

!CAUTION 1. Pay special attention during the troubleshoot ing to minimize the risk of

electrical shock .

2. Turn off power immediately if the T1/T1S or related equipment is emitting

smoke or odor. Operation under such situation can cause fire or electrical

shock.

3. T ur n off power bef ore removing or replacing units, m odules, t erminal

blocks or wires. Failure to do so can cause electrical shock or damage to

the T1 and r elat ed equipment.

4. Contact Toshiba for repairing if the T1/T1S or related equipment is failed.

Toshiba will not guarantee proper operation nor safety for unauthorized

repairing.
