Safety Precautions

Maintenance:

1. Turn off power before removing or r eplacing units, m odules, terminal block s or wires.

Failure to do so can cause electr ical shock or damage to the T1/T1S and related

equipment.

2. When you rem ove both input and out put terminal blocks with wires for maintenance

purpose, pay attent ion t o prevent inserting t hem upside down.

3. Do not insert your finger into the expansion rack’s ventilat ion hole dur ing power on.

This can cause electr ical shock.

4. Do not disassemble the T1/T 1S because t her e ar e hazardous voltage parts inside.

5. Perform daily checks, periodical checks and cleaning to maintain the system in normal

condition and to prevent unnecessary tr oubles.

6. Check by ref erring “Troubleshooting” section of this m anual when operating

improperly. Contact T oshiba for r epair ing if the T1/ T1S or relat ed equipment is failed.

Toshiba will not guarantee proper operat ion nor safet y for unauthorized repair ing.

7. The contact reliability of the output r e lays will reduce if t he switching exceeds the

specified life. Replace t he unit or module if exceeded.
