5.2 About the built-in EEPROM

The T1/T1S is equipped with a built- in EEPRO M and a RAM as standard feat ur es.

The user program is stored in the EEPROM so that the user program can be maintained

without the need of a battery. A part of the Dat a r egister can also be stor ed in t he

EEPROM.

The table below shows the contents stor ed in t he built-in EEPROM.

The user pr ogram and the dat a stored in the EEPROM is transferred to the RAM when

power is turned on. Subsequent program execution is done based on the RAM contents.

Progr am editing is also performed on the RAM contents.

Therefore, if t he program is modified, i t is necessary to issue the EEPROM Wri t e

command from the programming t ool . O t herwise, the modif ied program is over-

writ t en by ori ginal EEPROM cont ent s when the power is t urned of f and on again.
