Name

Definition

<access-list-name>

The name of the access list.

[default-action-deny]

Sets the default action to deny. When this option is

enabled, the switch blocks all traffic that does not match

an access rule in the enabled ACL.

This option is a global setting and is not available in the

Web Agent. If you use the CLI to enable this option and

then use the Web Agent to enable a different ACL, the

default-action-denyoption remains enabled.

To disable this option, enter ip access-group<group

name> and omit the [default-action-deny] option. For

<group name>, you can enter:

• The name of the currently enabled access list to

retain its enabled status.

OR

• The name of a different access list to enable it.

Sample Output

The following command enables the access-list fwdrules:

(configure)# ip access-group fwdrules

Systems

P550R, P580, P880, and P882.
