Command Mode

Privileged.

Description

Copy a specified file in NVRAM to another specified file in NVRAM.

Syntax

copy <source filename> <dest filename>

Name

Definition

 

 

 

 

<source filename>

The name of the source file in NVRAM. It must be an

 

 

ASCII script file, with a 1-8 letter base filename, and

 

 

file extension of ".txt"

 

 

 

 

<dest filename>

The name of the destination file in NVRAM. It must

 

 

be an ASCII script file, with a 1-8 letter base

 

 

filename, and file extension of ".txt"

 

 

 

Sample Output

The following example shows the copy <source filename> <dest

 

filename> command.

 

#copy ripcfg.txt test.txt

Copied file ’/NVRAM/ripcfg.txt’ to file ’/NVRAM/ test.txt’
