The bouncing segments provide feedback, a visual indication that sound is being recorded. The best quality recording should occur when 4-5 segments are on.

The camera cannot play the recorded sound; instead, you will need to use your computer as described in Chapter 7. Chapter 8 contains additional reference material about recorded sound files.

Turning off the Camera
