Battery Indicator

When the camera is awake, the battery indicator displays the amount of battery life — full, 2/3 full, and 1/3 remaining — in the battery in the camera back. (There are no batteries in the Canon EOS-1 N camera.) When the battery life is exhausted, the bottom indicator blinks, and the battery needs to be recharged. (Refer to the Specifications appendix for information on battery life.)

When you operate with the AC battery charger/adapter connected, the three segments of this icon light repeatedly in turn from bottom to top while the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged all three segments remain lit.
