Inverse efficiency ( ) :Efficiency including some eff iciencies of the servo motor and servo amplifier
when rated (regenerative) torque is generated at r ated speed. Since the
efficiency varies with the speed and generated tor que, allow for about 10%.
Capacitor charging (Ec) :Ener gy charged into the electrolytic capacitor in t he servo amplifier.
Subtract the capacitor charging from the resu lt of multiplying the sum total of regenerative energies by the
inverse efficiency to calculate the energy c onsumed by the regenerative option.
ER [J] Es Ec
Calculate the power consumption of the regenera tive option on the basis of single-cycle operation per iod tf [s]
to select the necessary regenerative option.
