<analog var> := OPERATE(<iovar>, O_DISABLE_CONV, 0);
where <analog var>
<iovar>
represents the analog return variable and can be zero if the operate call is supported and the correct <iovar> is passed or
is the variable name for the channel where the operate call is to take effect.
