It should be noted that the standard ISA-Terminal is configured for COM2. If another port is required then the switch to the new one is made by firstly starting the ISA-Terminalprogram and then selecting the Settings from the Communication pull-down menu. Here the possibility exists to select the desired communications port. When leaving the ISA-Terminal environment, remember to save the configuration if changes have been made.

The installation of the ISaGRAF development tool is now complete and access is provided to a full IEC1131-3 programming platform.

The following sections deal with the application of this tool with the SMART I/O and other PEP PLCs. Note that ‘C’ programming is not an option for the SMART I/O Starter Kit and if required must be ordered separately through one of the PEP offices or agents.
