Format :

SLTI rt, rs, immediate

Description :

Sign-extends the 16-bit immediate value and compares the result with the contents of general- purpose register rs, treating both values as 32-bit signed integers. A 1, if rs is less than the sigh- extended immediate value, or a 0, otherwise, is placed in general-purpose register rt as the result of the comparison.

No overflow exception is raised. The comparison is valid even if the subtraction used in making the comparison overflows.
