System Event Logging
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
Sets the system event severity level threshold for each of the ATLAS 800PLUS sys- tem event types. Whenever a system event occurs, that event is logged if the event’s severity level is equal to or more severe than the event type’s current threshold setting. See “System Event Logging” on page
Syslog Setup
Write Security: 3 Read Security: 5
Configures the ATLAS Syslog client for use with a Syslog server (supplied on Adtran /Utility disk).
Transmission
Enables or disables the transmission of log events to the external Syslog server.
Host IP Address
Lists the IP address of the external server that is running the Syslog host dae- mon.
Host Facility
Specifies the facility destination of log events. Facilities are located on the host and are managed by the Syslog host daemon running on either a UNIX machine or a PC.
Real Time Clock
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
Provides access to the following two options that you can review and edit:
Current Time/Date
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
Displays the current date and time, including seconds. To edit this field, enter the time in
Auto Daylight Savings
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
When enabled, automatically updates the time and date when Daylight Sav- ings Time starts and, also, when Standard Time starts.
Access Passwords
Write security: 0; Read security: 5
Provides a way to edit passwords and, also, to add new users/passwords. All menu items are protected by
