12Some measurement results may be displayed as ----due, for example, to mobile failure. The measurement has been armed but has not completed. In these circumstances a GPIB query of the measurement will not return a result. This event should be catered for by adding a time-out to the query and a “CLEAR” operation as described in paragraph 11, above.

13When changing between screens, the DSP results may briefly show a very large number. This is expected behavior.

When controlling the instrument via GPIB, some phase and frequency results may consistently return a very large number. This is most likely caused by attempting to read result from another DSP screen when measurement triggering is set to Continuous. The alternative solutions are either to change to the appropriate DSP screen before reading the result, or to use single-shot measurement triggering.
