Agilent Technologies 8922M/S Specifications

This instrument is designed for indoor use only.

If the instrument is subjected to Agilent Class B condensation, it is recommended that the instrument be powered up for at least 30 minutes before normal operation.

This instrument is designed for use in Installation Category II and Pollution Degree 2 per IEC 1010 and 644 respectively.

Before switching on this instrument, make sure that the line voltage selector switch is set to the voltage of the power supply and the correct fuse is installed. Assure the power supply voltage is in the specified range.

WARNING:If this instrument is to be energized via an external auto transformer for voltage reduction, make sure that it’s common terminal is connected to a neutral (earth pole) of the power supply.

Lifting or Carrying the instrument

If this instrument is not used as specified, the protection provided by the equipment could be impaired. This instrument must be used in a normal condition (in which all means of protection are intact) only.

To avoid potential injury, ensure that two people are employed in lifting the instrument from it’s packaging and at all other times. Before attempting to lift or carry the instrument, consider the following basic lifting techniques to help avoid personal injury.

Using both arms to lift instrument

Reach for the instrument - bend your knees and waist, and keep your back straight.

GRASP the instrument firmly.

LIFT with your legs.

KEEP your shoulders level.
