Basic procedures

4.8 Bringing the server back to operation

VCAUTION!

●Before turning on the server, make sure the covers are closed.

●Follow the safety instructions in chapter "Safety instructions" on

page 31.

IThis step is only applicable to replace or expand non-hot plug

components.

ÊConnect all cables on the rear of the server.

ÊConnect all power cords to the power outlets.

ÊPress the On/Off button to start up the server.

4.9 Closing the rack door

For information on how to close the front and rear doors of the rack see

"PRIMECENTER, Rack System for PRIMERGY, PRIME POWER, BS2000,

STORAGE".

Authorized personnel

Authorized specialist personnel can carry out replacement tasks for

integral server components. Ask you local Fujitsu service center for

more detailed information.

VCAUTION!

Procedures indicated as "Authorized personnel only“ must be

done by Fujitsu service personnel or technicians trained by

Fujitsu for doing these tasks. Please note that unauthorized

interference with the system will void the warranty and exempt the

manufacturer from all liability.
