8.2.2 Preparing the SFP+ transceiver module

ÊRemove the SFP+ transceiver module from its protective packaging.
ÊRemove the optical port plug from the new/ additional SFP+ transceiver
module.
VCAUTION!
– Always keep the protective port plugs attached to the transceiver
optical bores and fiber-optic cable connectors until you are ready
to make a connection.
– Save the protective port plug for future use.
