9.2.6 Completing the task
Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
1. "Closing the server" on page 47
2. "Mounting the server in the rack" on page49
3. "Bringing the server back to operation" on page51
4. "Closing the rack door" on page51
9.3 Installing additional DIMM memory modules9.3.1 Required tools
●Starting and completing the task:
– key for the rack doors (if applicable)
– Phillips Ph2 screw driver
● Installing the DIMM memory module: tool-less
Authorized personnel
Authorized specialist personnel can carry out replacement tasks for
integral server components. Ask you local Fujitsu service center for
more detailed information.
VCAUTION!
Procedures indicated as "Authorized personnel only“ must be
done by Fujitsu service personnel or technicians trained by
Fujitsu for doing these tasks. Please note that unauthorized
interference with the system will void the warranty and exempt the
manufacturer from all liability.
