The connection process
1.Turn OFF the printer’s power switch
2.Insert the twisted pair cable into the Fast EtherNet connector.
3.Insert the other end of the twisted pair cable into the hub/ switch wall socket.
4.Turn ON the printer’s power switch.
In the case that the network used includes a router and a server, start the router and the server and only then turn ON the printer’s power switch. If the printer’s power switch is turned ON before the router and the server, the network may not function normally.
