Configuring IP addresses
If a PC running the Standard Setup Utility uses only TCP/IP protocol, the Fast EtherNet may not be listed on the main screen if its IP address has never been configured. Use the following procedure to set the IP address.
2Enter the Fast EtherNet’s “Ethernet Address” and “IP Address”, then click [OK]. The settings will be transmitted to the Fast EtherNet.
Please make a note of the Ethernet Address before proceeding with this setup. The Ethernet Address will be displayed on the Fast EtherNet
1 Select [Set IP Address] from the [Setup] menu.
3 To enable the IP Address, click [Yes].
If you select [No], the new setting will take effect when you turn the printer off and then back on again.
