Print using the “lp” command.
# lp
Canceling the print request
If the “cancel” command is used, the printing job is cancelled.
Example: In the case of a print job to “OP8c_lp”, deletion of 456.
# cancel POP8c_lp
Verification of the printer status
Verify the printer status using the “ipstat” command.
In some cases the Solaris2.x or UNIX specifications may prevent accurate display.
# lpstat
