Trouble while using NetBEUI

The Fast EtherNet is not identified

·If the printer is on, turn the printer off and then on again.

·Check if the network cable is correctly connected. If needed, change the cable and try again.

·Check if “Microsoft network client” and “NetBEUI” have been added to the network section of the control panel.

·The factory setting of the workgroup name is “PrintServer” and the computer name is ML+ the last 6 digits of the Mac address.

·The computer name of the Fast EtherNet may have been changed to the same name as the computer name that resides on the network. Initialize the Fast EtherNet and make sure that there are no multiple computer names.

·The NetBEUI protocol of the Fast EtherNet may have become disabled. In such a case, change it to “Enable” in the utility related to the Fast EtherNet.

·Turn the printer off, switch DIP switch [2] on and turn the printer on again, initialize the Fast EtherNet and reset the printer driver.

Error writing to prn1

·The printer may have gone offline. Turn it online.

·The paper may have run out, leading to an error message. Add more paper + cancel the error.

·Another user may be printing. Print after the other user has finished printing.

Others

Changes the Kanji code, cannot print correctly

·Check the Kanji code used in the printing data. The Fast EtherNet responds to Soft JIS and EUC PostScript Kanji files.
