Real-Time Clock/Calendar

ISA features include:

bus speed up to 8.33 MHz

16-bit memory addressing

Type A transfers at 5.33 MB/second

Type B transfers at 8 MB/second

T8- or 16-bit data transfers Plug and Play ready.

The system board has two 32-bit PCI bus segments: PCI-A and PCI-B. The segments provide seven PCI connectors, three on PCI-A and four on PCI-B. PCI-A supports half-length boards only and PCI-B supports full-length boards. One of the PCI-B connectors shares a chassis expansion slot with an ISA connector.

PCI features include:

bus speed up to 33 MHz

32-bit memory addressing

5 V signaling environment

burst transfers of up to 133 Mbps

8-, 16-, or 32-bit data transfers

TPlug and Play ready parity enabled.

Real-Time Clock/Calendar

The real-time clock provides system clock/calendar information stored in a non- volatile memory (NVRAM). The replaceable real-time clock battery provides power backup for the real-time clock.

BIOS

A BIOS and Setup Utility are located in the Flash EPROM on the system board and include support for system setup and PCI/ISA Plug-and-Play auto- configuration. A number of security, reliability, and management features also have been incorporated to meet vital server needs.

IDE Controller

The system includes a single channel enhanced IDE interface controller. The controller has a primary connector located on the system board that supports a master and a slave device.
