Chapter 11 Telephone features 99

Handsfree Answerback

Handsfree Answerback allows you to answer a voice call without lifting the handset. Handsfree Answerback is always turned off for a T7100 telephone.

You can turn Handsfree Answerback on or off for a telephone programmed to use Handsfree. You need to start a Unified Manager session to program this feature. For more information about programming using Unified Manager, see the Business Communications Manager Programming Operations Guide.

Hearing aid compatibility

The handsets on all system telephones are compatible with hearing aids as defined in the FCC rules, Part 68, section 68.316. Not all hearing aids are optimized for use with a telephone.
