SNominal voltages listed in this chapter are for a lead‐acid batteries rated per NEC at 2.00 Vdc per cell.
SBattery strings must be installed according to all applicable codes and regulations, including NEC, Article 480.
SThe UPS to battery cable should be sized for a total maximum voltage drop of 1% nominal DC Link voltage at maximum current.
STable 4‐1 details the power cable terminations.
SThe remote battery disconnect weighs approximately 60.3 kg (133 lb). It has an ampere interrupting capacity (AIC) of 100,000 at 500 Vdc.
