If an extension cord is used with this product, ensure that the total ampere ratings of all the devices sharing the extension cord do not exceed the rat- ing of the extension cord, nor the rating of the wall outlet. As with the AC Adapter, be certain that the cord is placed so that no one will trip over it (since this might cause the computer to fall).
The WinBook notebook can be used safely in a moving car. Power adapters that will connect between the WinBook notebook and a cigarette lighter socket are available. For information, contact Sales at the number listed on the “Read Me First” brochure that came with your system.
Contact technical support if:
a)The power cord appears damaged or frayed
b)Liquid has been spilled on the product
c)The product does not operate normally
d)The product has been dropped or the cabinet impeached
e)The product shows a distinct change in performance

Travel Tips
•It is a good idea to load common printer drivers onto your WinBook notebook (such as HP Laser Jet and DeskJet drivers). This will allow you to print from many printers at your destination, even if you do not carry your own printer with you.
•Take along a bootable CD or floppy disk (if you also take along your optional USB Floppy Disk Drive), just in case there is damage to your hard drive.
