Series User’s Manual

Parallel Port: This item allows you to enable or disable the parallel port. When enabled, this port should be set to “Auto” (which will automatically set the address on system start-up). If you choose the Auto option, you will have the option of setting the Parallel Port mode. If conflicts arise, you can disable the parallel port (and enable it again when you need to use it) by setting it to “Disabled.” If the OS has control of the parallel port, you will see “OS Controlled” displayed for this item.
