Restarting Your Phone
As System Administrator, there may be times when you need to restart a phone.
The Restart option allows you reboot the phone when required. A reset may be
necessary when:
There is a change in your network, OR
To re-load modified configuration files, OR
If the settings for the IP phone on the IP PBX system have been modified.
You can restart the phone using the IP Phone UI or the Aastra Web UI.

Step Action
1 Press on the phone to enter the Options List.
2Select Restart Phone.
3For 53i:
Press # to confirm.
Note: To cancel the Restart, press the 3 key.
For 55i, 57i, 57i CT:
Press Restart.
Note: To cancel the Restart, press Cancel.
