Verifying the Host Configuration

Once the library is connected to a host, the operating system must be configured to recognize it (if it has not already been configured). The procedures are different, depending on the host system:

With HP Library & Tape Tools installed on your host computer, you can do the following and much more:

■Identify all SCSI and Fibre Channel devices connected to your system

■View detailed configuration, identification, inventory, and drive information for the library
