5.If desired, insert tapes into the magazine. Ensure that you use the appropriate tape type for the magazine.

—When inserting Ultrium cartridges into the tape library magazine, ensure that each cartridge is positioned with the write-protect switch facing out of the magazine and towards the magazine handle (Figure 38). Push the tape into the slot until it “clicks” into place.
