To add a new Remote Site, enter the information about the remote HPSS system and click on the
Add button.
Toupdate an existing Remote Site, modify the desiredfields and click on the Updatebutton to write
the changes to the SFS file.
To delete an existing Remote Site, click on theDelete button to delete the policy.
To load an existing policy click on theLoad Existing button.
To clear out the fields on the screen in order to add a new Remote Site, click on theStart New
button.
Referto the window's help file for more information on the individual fields and the buttons as well
as the supported operations available from the window.
Once a Remote Site is created or updated, it may take several minutes for the Location Server to
noticethe change and contact the site. To speed up this process, reinitialize or shutdown and restart
the Location Server.
