CM (Change Command Mode)

Execution:

This command can be executed in the AC POWER ON state or DC POWER ON state. Entering Maintenance mode requires the entry of a password.

Function:

Changes from Normal mode to Maintenance mode. When the system is in Maintenance mode, the Status LED on the front of the server is amber.

Note: The CM command can be executed in Normal mode or

Maintenance mode.

To switch from Normal mode to Maintenance mode, a password is required.

 

If you enter a wrong password, a message is displayed and the system waits for

 

another password entry. If you enter an incorrect password three times in a row, the

 

command terminates.

 

Passwords are case sensitive.

After the mode change to Maintenance mode is displayed, the command terminates.
