The options you can set on the Security menu screen and their functions are shown in the following table.

Item	Option	Description
Supervisor Password is		Displays whether the supervisor’s password is set.
		The Password is not displayed.
User Password is		Displays whether the user’s password is set.
		The Password is not displayed.
Set Supervisor	Up to 7	Moves to the supervisor password entry screen when
Password	alphanumeric	you press the “Enter” key. If you log in as a supervisor,

Set User Password	Up to 7	Moves to the user password entry screen when you
	alphanumeric	press the “Enter” key. If you log in as a user, some
		accesses to the Setup menus are restricted.

Password On Boot	[Disabled]	Specifies whether a password is required at boot-up.
	Enabled	You must have specified the supervisor’s password
		beforehand.
		If the supervisor’s password has been specified and the
		option “Disabled” is selected, the BIOS judges that a
		user is trying to boot the system.
Option ROM Menu Mask	[Unmasked]	Enables or disables key entry during Option ROM BIOS
	Masked	expansion.
		Masked: Disables key entries.
		Unmasked: Enables key entries.
[ ]: Default setting
