Authentication using the printer or LAN-Fax driver

1.Open the file you want to print on your computer.

2.On the [File] menu, click [Print...].

3.In the [Select Printer] area, select the name of this machine, and then click [Preferences].

4.Click the [Valid Access] tab (PCL printer driver) or check the [User Code] check box. (LAN- Fax driver).

5.Enter the user code using 1 to 8 digits, and then click [OK].

6.Execute a print command.

If an incorrect user code is entered, the job will be canceled automatically (without any error message).
