Setting up your printer
Remove the printer and all supplied parts from the packing material. Put the printer on the place you have prepared for it. Save the packing material and carton in case you need to move the printer in the future.
Fitting the platen knob
This knob is packed into a recess of the packaging mate- rial in the printer box.
To.fit the knob, rotate the knob on the shaft (lining up the flattened side of the shaft with the flattened part of the hole on the knob). After you have lined up these flat- tened sides, push the knob firmly onto the shaft.
