LCD TEST

The LCD test checks LCD op- eration by turning on and off all the elements of the LCD on the Operation Panel.

LCD WILL TURN BLACK AND THEN CLEAR PRESS START KEY

Press:

All of the elements of the LCD should turn on (as is the ex- ample below).

Five seconds later, all the ele- ments should turn off. Visually check that all the elements have turned on and off nor- mally. The test result input screen is displayed five sec- onds after the elements turn off.

If all elements of the LCD turn on and off normally, press:

If even one elements fails to turn on and off, press:

The word “OPERATION COM- PLETED” is displayed on the screen and the unit returns to the individual test selection screen.

The result of the LCD test can be confirmed with the self test report. To print the self test re- port, refer to “PRINTING A TEST RESULT” on page 252.

If the result of the LCD test is judged to be NG, call your ser- vice representative.
