If communication errors fre- quently occur while transmitting documents due to bad line con- ditions, we recommend you to select a lower transmission

4 Enter the Facsimile Number

speed to enable quality trans- missions. The transmission speed will be restored to the de- fault value automatically after the low speed transmission is completed.

You can activate this option while programming an Abbrevi- ated Dial Number (page 70) or One Touch Dial Key (page 77) if communication with a certain remote party always requires this option.

Load the document face down in the Document Tray (see page 88).

Adjust the resolution and con- trast if desired (see page 89).
