This example shows the Report Properties editor - the Cashier report.

Report Properties Panel Options

The report's property file name and extension (.lrp) appears at the top left of the panel to identify the report file being edited.

The Report Title is the name that appears at the top of the report on screen or in printed format.

Language allows you to set the default language for the report.

Minimum user level is the security feature for this report. The security level must be set for each report individually. The security levels follow the standard Symphony Pro security levels. (to read about security levels in Symphony Pro, see the "Security" help page under the Symphony Pro "File" menu "Configuration" section) If a user does not have that security level, the report does not appear in the report list, and therefore is not selectable.

SQL File is the file that contains the Symphony Pro proprietary commands and the SQL used to extract the information from the database for this report. The "Ed " button to the right of the name opens the report SQL editor described below. The "... " button allows you to select the report .sql file from a browser.

Template File (.frp) is the Form Manager file for the report. The template file contains the visual layout and presentation aspects of the report. The template file can only be edited using the Form Manager. If you wish to edit template files to create your own report layouts, contact your Authorized TEC Dealer to register the Form Manger module for your installation.
