Using the Command Line Interface

Command Usage

The time acquired from time servers is used to record accurate dates and times for log events. Without SNTP, the access point only records the time starting from the factory default set at the last bootup (i.e., 00:14:00, January 1, 1970).

Example

Outdoor 11a Building to Building (config)#sntp-server enable Outdoor 11a Building to Building (config)#

Related Commands

sntp-server ip (6-38) show sntp (6-41)

sntp-server date-time

This command sets the system clock.
