Syntax SHow OSPF AREa[={BAckbonearea-number}] [{FULlSUMmary}]

where area-numberis a 4-byte OSPF area number in dotted decimal notation

Description The output of this command includes new fields.

Parameter

Meaning

Role

NSSA translator role; one of “CANDIDATE” or “ALWAYS”.

 

This field is only displayed when NSSA is “Yes”.

 

 

Stability Interval

Time period, in seconds, that the router or switch will

 

continue to translate Type-7 LSAs after losing its elected

 

translator role to another NSSA border router. This field is

 

only displayed when NSSA is “Yes”.

 

 

State

Current NSSA translator state. If Role is “ALWAYS”, one of

 

“DISABLED” or “ENABLED”. If Role is “CANDIDATE”, one

 

of “DISABLED” or “ELECTED”. This field is only displayed

 

when NSSA is “Yes”.
