Where to Set Up the Fax

JAvoid direct sunlight. If you have to locate the fax near a window,

install heavy curtains or blinds to protect the fax from direct sunlight.

J Choose a ¯at, stable surface free of vibration.

J Avoid a location subject to extreme temperature ¯uctuation. Use in a

location within a temperature range of 10!C to 32.5!C.

JDo not set up the fax near a television, radio, or heavy equipment like

copy machines, air conditioners, computers, or large printers that can generate strong electromagnetic ®elds. Large equipment can generate electronic noise that can interfere with the operation of the fax.

JChoose a location that is clean and free from dust and moisture.

J Do not use or store the fax outdoors.
