Serial Port and Remote Serial Statistics Menus The Serial Port and Remote Serial Statistics Menus provide top-level information on data
exchanges between the radio serial ports and the network through the wireless and the
Ethernet (data) layers. These include:
▪ Bytes In On Port xxx
▪ Bytes In On Socket xxx
▪ Bytes Out On Port xxx
▪ Bytes Out On Socket xxx
You can use this information as an indicator of port activity at the data and IP levels.
Diagnostic Tools The Maintenance Menu contains a tool that is especially useful to network technicians—the
PING utility. The PING utility can be used to verify reachability of Ethernet devices connected to
the network.
