Relay Assembly

Removal

•Remove the seat (see Hull/Engine Hood chapter).

•Remove the rear storage pocket.

•Remove:

Relay Assembly Connector [A]

Clamp [B]

Bolt [C]

Relay Assembly [D]

Installation

•Apply a non-permanent locking agent to the relay assem- bly mounting bolt and tighten it securely.

•Route the relay assembly leads correctly (see Cable, Wire and Harness Routing in Appendix chapter).

Circuit Inspection

•Remove the relay assembly.

•Check conductivity of the following numbered terminals by connecting the hand tester and one 12 V battery to the relay assembly as shown.

If the tester does not read as specified, replace the relay assembly.
