Making copies

Your fax machine also doubles as a convenience copier. To make copies with your fax machine:

1 Insert the document face up. Remember:

There are certain types of documents you should never insert into your fax machine. (Review “Things not to put in your fax,” page 1.13.)

The document can be up to 50 pages.

If you’re copying a multi-page docu- ment, “fan” the pages.

Adjust the machine’s document guides to fit the document.

2 Adjust the resolution and contrast, if necessary.

3 Press COPY. The LCD shows:

4 Use the numeric keypad to enter the number of copies you want to make for each page in the document. Choose from 1 to 99 copies.

Here, we’ve chosen 03 copies.

Note: The setting requires two digits. Enter a leading zero for quantities less than 10.

5 Press COPY to begin copying.

Note: Because your machine has multi access performance, you can copy docu- ments with your machine and also receive documents into memory at the same time. See page 2.33 for more information.
